Onesies, Mittens and other Delightful Dorkiness

It is a well known fact that when I become bored I find interesting things on the internet. Newest fantastic find? Onesies. Not the baby kind. Onesies for adults. These musings started one night after Steve curled up in a cute ball on the couch and the inevitable blanket war ensued between the toes, chin and a much to short blanket.. and then the horror... what happens when you have to visit the powder room? Got ya covered there too! Life is complete! Almost...

The search continued... My face and hands were still cold and lonely... in comes the adorably wonderful Smitten Mittens! And for those men on your list who may not have gotten all they wanted on Christmas this last one is sure to take the cake.

The Bearded Ski Mask is way past it's time and is on my Christmas list! This one needs no explanation. Simply follow the line and prepare to giggle. Maybe it's time I crack open my homework book! Hahaha

Terror and a Basketball-Sized Chocolate Mudbaby

1. Mudbaby

A humongous Piece of Sh**. Always look before you percolate some butt coffee, for this hidden danger could be lurking in the next stall... A dimension not only of sight and smell but of grime. There is a sign post up ahead: Next Stall- The Turd Burglar Zone.
I truly almost peed my pants. This is what Steve and I do when we are bored.

Welcome to 2009!

Happy New Year! Okay so my postings are coming in groups and this is the last one today I swear. Steve and I decided for New Years to have a good Ole' Low Key Redneck New Years! Hence the Picture:
We rang in the New Year together with some bubbly, Pizza, firecrackers and some poppers. It was nice to lay low together this year. Even Oreo partook of the festivities! No worries... It's just water. He was still plenty interested though!

And of course it was followed by the traditional New Years toast and Kiss! It was super cold out so (in the 'teens!) so we were wearing beanies. From house to yours Happy New Years!

9 Ways to Keep Busy in 09

In addition to the infamous year end review it's time for the favored resolutions. I found it too hard to narrow down to 1 so I decided in honor of the year 09 the make it a rounded out 9. So, with no further adieu:

1. Stop Procrastinating.. starting tomorrow. Just kidding. I really need to work on this one.

2. Organize. Organize. Organize.

3. Start dating more. Think Steve will mind? Once again joke. Really want to make our minimum monthly dates a priority again.

4. Get going on all my scrapbooking. This one should not be hard at all. I got lots of goodies for Christmas and I'm super excited to get started.

5. Stay in touch with old friends and family. This one is substantially significant as friends and family are super important.

6. Do more outdoorsy stuff... hiking, camping, backpacking etc. All the stuff I love to do yet PROCRASTINATE and always miss the opportunity (See the trend?)

7. Get all my finances in order and pay off few credit cards. This one is definitely do-able. Not a fan of the plastic. Planning on buying a new car too!

8. Read more. And not just my homework... not to say homework isn't important (number 1 will take care of that) but there are sooo many books out there!

9. Have more me time!

SOOOO.... Now Tag your it!!! Especially Jennie!

Happy (Almost) New Year!

Well it time for the traditional Year-in-Review. I hope that this is finding everyone in good spirits and good health. Steve and I have just recently returned from our Christmas trip to Arizona where he met my family for the first time. I'll say it went swimmingly. I'm happy to report that he spoke to my mom and dad and asked if he could ask for my hand in marriage! He even divulged his ideas for the actual proposal to my dad but is keeping those plans top secret. Yay!
So back to my year-in-review. We've both met each others families this year and the meetings went well on both sides. Steve got promoted to SSG this year and I was made cadre and was put in charge of the warrior care clinic and made medical NCO for our company. We took our first trip; both road and by air together this year and gained a cat named Oreo. Our year anniversary was in November and hope to have many more! Steve enjoys his video games when he is not working and looks forward to getting more! I look forward to playing my little games and (honestly) doing homework. We both go home as often as we can but as both pretty busy with work.
Looking forward to 2009!! We've already got plenty of plans in the works. Steve has 2 MONTHS of training scheduled March-April at Fort Huachuca. Yikes! I'll be flying out for Rileys b-day in February then riding out with Steve in March. We'll be going backpacking in Az before steve has to go to Southern Az for training. Then I'll most likely fly out for my b-day in April. Lots to do already!
Well Happy New Year! Lots of Love from an AZ girl lost in Kentucky!

Christmas Festivities and Whatnot

Hello All! Here I am after visiting from my wonderful Arizona home with Steve and having loved every semi-warm minute of it. I loved every second of it and took a heap of pictures. On Christmas Eve Jennie did her normal get-together with the family with all sorts of goodies. We played holiday bingo again this year which was a lot of fun. It was fabulous to see my friend Christy again. Christmas morning we went over to my Mom's house where she had made up warm muffins, rolls and baked apples. Of course she had a warm fire going. That night we all went to my Dad's house where he made dinner which included his famous homemade Oyster Stew. Fan-Fricken-tastic. On the 28th-ish we took our snow trip up to northern Arizona. We actually didn't have to go that far past Pine/Strawberry to find snow. We just kinda turned a corner and it was like a snow bomb exploded. It was Riley's first time in the snow but Ivy soon remembered how to successfully peg people in the head. Steve was really good at finding the deep patches of snow. Mom brought along the hot cocoa and Jennie brought cheese and crackers. All in all it was a great day. I loved just playing with Ivy and Riley and playing Wii marathons with John (and whooping Karens but at MarioKart Haha!)

Grrrr!!!

This is a picture I sent Steve. He is in North Carolina this weekend with his brother. He texted me to tell me that they were in a limo on the way to dinner. I promptly hit #3 on my speed dial and got Outback. They know me by name. Ha.

It's wrong to laugh when kids fall... right?

This the video I promised Jennie... What did I say about when people fall? Even the little ones is funny. No worries she didn't get hurt...

The whole kittencaboodle

So Karen almost peed her pants and Liz thought it was cool... so here is my actual complete profile... myspace lets you post as much as you want so I wrote the whole thing there...

So I’m kind of a big deal… Oh yeah. People know me. I know people. I’m from the great state of AZ. I currently live at Ft. Campbell, KY and make that place fricking fabulous. I loooove to travel. I am addicted to shopping and Barqs Root Beer oh and those little gummy cherries. I love hiking, backpacking and canoeing. I believe God made someone special for everyone: I am no longer accepting applications. I'm head over heals- stupid-crazy-in love with Steve. This man makes my heart skip a beat, keeps me laughing and always on my toes... perfect. I’m learning to cook. I completely love steak and chocolate but not necessarily together. I’m a night owl but am annoyingly perky in the early morning hours. I feel guilty if I sleep past 11am. I hate folding laundry so I hang most of it. Dancing in the rain takes style. When all my panties are in the wash I go commando. I’m addicted to cherry chapstick. I thinks it's hilarious when someone falls. I like to play in the mud. I love to laugh and smile ALL THE TIME. I love hanging out with my family especially my niece and nephew. My sister is my best friend. I am organized to an annoying point. I love school and taking endless classes when I get bored. I say sorry too much. Hugs are necessary for good health. I hate the bottom of a bag of potato chips so Steve always has to finish off the bags for me. I love coffee… any way shape or form. When I get cupcakes I lick off the icing but hide the cake in the trashcan so I can get more icing. I love wearing big sweaters and wrapping up in blankets on a cold day. I actually like running but am allergic to flutter kicks and pushups. I love my abs and actually like my body. I’m a bitchin combat medic. I love sticking people with needles and wrapping them up with tape. When I grow up I wanna be a doctor and still be in love with my husband even after 50 years. I will age gracefully. I can watch ER over and over. I watch Full House. I don’t think that it is bad to be conceited- Gotta love yourself first! Then others will follow. I believe taking pictures of yourself can be an art… some art is ugly. I love my niece and nephew more than anything. My sister is my hero! My dad makes me giggle and my mom rocks. My idea of heaven is San Francisco and room service. Tube tops and spandex are the work of the devil. I have a thing about wearing someone else's clothes. I don't like thrift stores; If you didn't want it I won't either. Gap is my weakness. Black and white photography is beautiful. I love the heat. I take pictures of everything. I call people honey and sweetie cuz it’s cute. I believe in God. I am fearless and I love myself! I am bold, random, unique, adorable, spontaneous, thankful, loud, crazy and proper. I still believe in being a lady. Life is too short to worry about the small stuff... so be silly, have fun and love. Love with all your heart and never look back!
