Putting on the Fat Pants

So Steve and I just got back from our little road trip from his brother's house for Thanksgiving. It was pretty cool. I love road trips. It took about 8 hours to get there though. On the way down I slept most of the way. I kept just dozing off randomly while I was reading... it was crazy. We left around 0300 our time and got to Ft. Bragg around 1300. We did stop at a this rest stop that had a pretty overlook and took a few pictures. It was pretty chilly!

I chowed down on as much wheat-free goodness as I could. I tried to sneak a spoonful of the stuffing; trying all the while to ignore the memories of the inevitable stomach pains that would plague me later on, but Steve caught me. So I stuck to heapfuls of turkey, mashed potatoes, acorn squash (plenty of that for me; I've noticed a trend in the south away from healthy food), a cranberry concoction and deviled eggs. Yum. I had a nice conversation with Rebecca's (Steve's sister-in-law)mother and father. But after that I was kinda left to myself. Which is kinda normal I guess for a new person to a family. Everyone is getting caught up on the the years happenings and of course reminiscing so I kind of sat on the couch and smiled. I wanted Steve to have plenty of his time with his brother, whom I know he misses alot. I did miss being home but I'll see everyone for Christmas and they'll get to meet Steve so I'm super excited!

Steve with his niece Olivia.

Olivia is a cutie-patootie. She is a few weeks older than Riley, my nephew. All in all I had a pretty good time.. Too bad we had to leave the next day, supposedly a storm was coming so we had to hurry home. But we might get snow! So hopefully more pictures to come!!

Crazy Cat Lady

Ok So apparently I've been tagged for this 4th of the 4th picture thingie... And it's a picture of my crazy cat. Now this is like my 6th picture of the goober... I worry I'll look like a crazy lat who only talks about her cat.. truly that is not me... SOOOOO here it is.

This is Oreo in a Shopping bag. Most cats freak out and run away but Oreo would not let me take it off... just wore it around like a cape. Little weirdo...

TAG Anyone else!

So sweet I need a Dentist...

I just wanted to put up a picture of Steve and I. It's just about our one year anniversary (November 20th) and I am crazy about this little booger. I'll be going to Thanksgiving with him to his family and he'll be flying home with me to meet my family for the first time for Christmas. Don't know who to warn first! :)

An "Oreo" made from pure evil

So this morning I was getting ready to do errands when Oreo decided to go CRAZY. If you've ever seen Jacka** and seen Bam attack his father randomly, THIS IS MY CAT!!! He will just run up to me smack me; literally smack, no claws just paws, and then run away. Then to top it off as I was walking into the kitchen he launched himself at he and flew up onto my back (again no claws) and was sprawled across my back and then took off! PSYCHO cat has it in for me. Then he's all purlicious with Steve. Friggin Boys.

Oh and he's also developed a taste for Dr. Pepper... Really anything that doesn't belong to him he'll try and steal...

As embarassing as a stain in your shorts...

Is a stain in the seat of your car..

Okay so this is not how it looks. I had gone to Capt D's for lunch and the lady wasn't as competent as one would hope. She had only half put the lid on and as I drove home I started to get a strange feeling that hopefully you haven't had in a LONG time. Now any small amount of fluid leaves my car seats looking like someone had an accident. Then I was left having to do the walk of shame with said stain on my pants from my car to my apartment. Steve had a good laugh. Yay me.
Maybe it was a " You had to be there " moment. But I promised Jennie I would take a picture.
